BRILLIANCE® is readily soluble in water and can be applied with conventional application equipment. For best results, apply BRILLIANCE® early in the season prior to the onset of stress. Avoid applying BRILLIANCE® to turf under stress. One long-term application of BRILLIANCE® can provide up to 90 days of relief from water repellency problems such as LDS. The number of applications required is related to the length of the growing season, environmental and geographic conditions. Refer to the use rate table below for specific application information or consult with your sales representative for a recommendation specific to your area and growing conditions. BRILLIANCE® can be tank-mixed and applied with other products. If compatibility is uncertain a jar test is recommended. BRILLIANCE® can also be combined with other soil surfactant products (e.g. Forté™) for enhanced performance (consult use directions on label).
Putting greens: 3 - 6 fl. oz. / 1,000 ft2 (1 – 2 gallons / acre) or 100 - 200 mL / 100 m2 (10 – 20 L / hectare) - Apply every 14 – 28 days before the onset of water repellency. Use higher rate for wider spray intervals
Fairways, Tees, Lawns, and Sports Turf: 2 - 4 fl. oz. / 1,000 ft2 (0.7 – 1.4 gallons / acre) or 70 – 140 mL / 100 m2 (7 – 14 L / hectare) - Apply every 21 – 28 days before the onset of water repellency. Use higher rates for wider spray intervals
Long-Term Surfactant Program (90 Days): 16 fl. oz. / 1,000 ft2 (5.5 gallons / acre)or 500 mL / 100 m2 (50 L / hectare) - Apply 8 fl. oz. (250 mL) 10-14 days apart. Reapply after 90 days or as necessary depending on local conditions.
“Forté™ Plus” Program (for greens, tees, fairways, and sports turf): 1 - 3 fl. oz. / 1,000 ft2 (0.3 – 1 gallon / acre) or 40 – 100 mL / 100 m2 (4 – 10 L / hectare) - Mix 1 – 3 fl. oz. (40 – 100 mL / 100 m2) of Brilliance® with 0.37 fl. oz. (16 fl. oz / acre | 1.2 L / hectare) of Forté™ and apply every 14 – 28 days. Use higher rates of Brilliance® for wider spray intervals or when peak water repellency stress is expected
*Use sufficient water for good coverage - 2 gallons / 1000 ft2 or 90 gallons / acre (850 L / hectare) during application. Irrigate sufficiently after application to remove BRILLIANCE® from leaf surfaces. With the exception of the Long-Term Surfactant Program, rates listed above or if excessive heat, (i.e. >90°F | 32°C) is expected after application, BRILLIANCE® can be allowed to dry on the leaf until evening irrigation. BRILLIANCE® applied higher than 6 fl. oz. / 1000 ft2 (200 mL / 100 m2) should be watered in as soon as possible.
